The friends of Gregson Green is a group of interested parties who have created a group to arrange regular maintenance activities around the site.
Activities will be arranged on a regular basis to involve local residents and the wider community in activities including litter collection, bulb planting, garden maintenance and drainage maintenance.
The football and cricket teams will continue with their pre match checks to ensure the grounds are safe and clear of litter and dog fouling.
A noticeboard would be a useful tool in publicising the group, along with other information help the group thrive in the local community.
